The BFBC Brewer's Ball Keg Competition is open to all Florida homebrewers and members of Florida homebrew clubs. Only entries brewed on non-commercial systems by homebrewers are eligible. Entries brewed by professional brewers or at commercial establishments, including brew-on-premises, are ineligible.

Entries must be submitted in either 3 or 5 gallon kegs. There is no limit to the number of kegs you may enter, and there is no entry fee. Any and all styles of beer, mead and cider are welcome. Deadline for entry is February 25th.

The first place prize winner of the keg competition will get to brew their beer at Rapp Brewing, and the beer will be put on tap. The winner will also receive 5-gallons of the beer to take home. The winner will be chosen by obtaining the most number of votes at the Brewer's Ball on March 3rd. In order to vote, ball attendees will purchase a ticket to sample all of the kegs. That ticket will be used to vote for their favorite beer. Tickets are limited to one per person. Voting will end once the beer begins to run-out. Any beer left after the vote is tallied will be offered for free for the remainder of the ball.

Each homebrewer that enters a keg in the competition must purchase a Brewer's Ball admission ticket if they would like to attend the ball, but will receive a free ticket upgrade to the Small Batch tasting at the Brewer's Ball.
